ENOVIA Integration Exchange Framework Client 6R2014

ENOVIA Integration Exchange Framework (IEF) Client is a desktop component that connects engineering authoring tools to an ENOVIA PLM environment. It streamlines the exchange of CAD files and product data by enforcing versioning, lifecycle, and access controls, so designers can search PLM content, open designs from the vault, and perform check-in/check-out directly from their CAD application. The client manages local workspaces and background file transfers, synchronizes attributes and assemblies/BOMs, supports offline work with later reconciliation, and helps maintain a single source of truth across teams—reducing manual file handling and errors.
